AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING AN ODD/EVEN PARKING REGULATION TRIAL FOR
PARKWAY, STEWART, VICTOR AND TROUT AVENUES
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Elgin,Illinois,that the Chief of Police
and the Director of Public Works pursuant to Elgin Municipal Code Section 11.08.090 be and are
hereby authorized and directed to implement an odd/even temporary and experimental parking
regulation for Parkway, Stewart, Victor and Trout Avenues. The duration of such trial odd/even
parking regulation program shall be for ninety(90)days from December 1,2015 through February
28, 2016. Upon completion of the trial program, city staff shall submit a report to the City Council
assessing the effectiveness of the trial program.
