AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Title 11,Chapter 11.60 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,be
and is hereby further amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is prohibited under
Section 11.60.0500 the following:
"Raymond Street—West— 180 feet from Gifford Place(Armory Building)to be designated
"No Parking between Signs-Government Vehicle Parking Only".
Section 2. That Section 11.32.030 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,entitled
"Stop Intersections" be and is hereby further amended by adding the following:
"Millennium - Westbound at Gateway."
Section 3. That Section 11.60.156 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,entitled
"Handicapped Parking Spaces"be and is hereby further amended by adding the following:
"Drake Field, Hastings Street and Lavoie Avenue, one (1) space;
National Street municipal lot—southeast corner—three (3) spaces."
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its passage in
the manner provided by law.
