ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE USE OF THE LORDS PARK PAVILION
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it necessary and proper to establish an
amended fee schedule for the use of the Lords Park Pavilion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the following fees and charges be,and the same are hereby established for
the Lords Park Pavilion effective January 1, 2008:
I. RENTAL GROUPS:

II. RESERVATION PACKAGES:

A 2 hours 30 minutes 3 hours
B 4 hours 45 minutes 5.5 hours

No proportional time allowed.
III. 2008 MAINTENANCE FEES: BUILDING USE

IV. 2008 EQUIPMENT CHARGES:
A. Tables (3x8 folding) $ 5.00 each (40 tables available)
B. Chairs (metal folding) $ 1.00 each (180 chairs available)
V. SERVICE FEES:
A. $25 processing fee to change reservation date.
B. $65 to contract with outside rental company.
VI. SECURITY DEPOSIT:
50% of the rental cost due at the time the reservation is made. One month prior to the
reservation date,rental fee must be paid in full. After the event,the security deposit will
be refunded providing that all guidelines regarding the rental were met.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after January 1,
2008.
