AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 16.48 OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976,
AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "FEE SCHEDULE FOR INSPECTIONS AND PERMITS"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
Section 1. That Chapter 16.48 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended,
entitled"Fee Schedule for Inspections and Permits,"be and is hereby further amended to add
new section 16.48.065, entitled "Fire Prevention," to read as follows:
16.48.065: FIRE PREVENTION:
A. Fire Alarm Plan Review:
1-25 alarm devices in approved plan $300.00
26-50 alarm devices in approved plan $400.00
51-75 alarm devices in approved plan $500.00
Over 75 alarm devices in approved plan $100.00 per
hour of plan
review
B. Fire Sprinkler System Plan Review:
1-20 sprinkler heads in approved plan $200.00
21-50 sprinkler heads in approved plan $300.00
51-100 sprinkler heads in approved plan $400.00
101-300 sprinkler heads in approved plan $600.00
Over 300 sprinkler heads in approved plan $100.00 per
hour of plan
review
