AN ORDINANCE
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ELGIN
(Randall Point Business Park-Phase 3)
WHEREAS, a petition signed by all the owners of record of certain territory has been filed
with the City Clerk requesting annexation of said territory to he City of Elgin, Illinois; and
WHEREAS,said petition includes therein a statement'under oath by all the owners ofrecord
that no electors reside on the subject territory; and
WHEREAS, said territoryis contiguous to the CityoflEl in and is not within the corporate

limits of any municipality; and
WHEREAS,legal notices of the intent of the City of E gin to annex said territory have been
forwarded to all public bodies required to receive said notice n the manner provided by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE (ITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory a and lands described follows be and are annexed to and
made a part of the City of Elgin and the boundaries of the Ci of Elgin be and are hereby enlarged
and extended to include in the corporate boundaries of the Ciy of Elgin said territory:
That part of the East Half of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 31,
Township 42 North,Range 8 East of the Third Principa Meridian,lying South of the
center line of Big Timber Road,lying North of a straig t line bounded on the East by
a point 300.0 feet South as measured on a line 1089.96 feet East of the Southwest
corner of said East half of the Southwest Quarter and parallel with the East line of
said East half of the Southwest Quarter and bounded On the West by a point 300.0
feet South as measured on the East line of Lot 2 in Schick's Subdivision and the
Southerly Extension thereof, and excluding therefrom that part of Big Timber Road
previously annexed to the City of Elgin, in the Township of Dundee, Kane County,
Illinois.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate map of said
territories shall be filed with the Recorder of Deeds, Kane Cq'unty, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after its passage
in the manner provided by law.
