AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ELGIN (Portion of the Gathman-Parcel and_StonyCreek East) WHEREAS, a petition signed by all the owners of record of certain territory has been filed._ with the City Clerk requesting annexatioi.of said territory to the City of Elgin, Illinois; and WHEREAS,said petition includes therein a statement under oath by all the owners of record that no electors reside on the subject territory; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Elgin and is not within the corporate limits of any municipality; and WHEREAS,legal notices of the intent of the City of Elgin to annex said territory havebeen forwarded to all public bodies required to receive said notice in the manner provided bylaw. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE-CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1.
