AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 3.24 OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976,
AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "ELGIN IMAGE ADVISORY COMMISSION"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 3.24.010 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976,as amended,entitled
"Creation" be and is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"3.24.010: CREATION AND MEMBERSHIP:
There is created an image advisory commission entitled the Elgin Image Advisory
Commission composed of nine (9) members to be appointed by the City Council. Each
member shall serve for a term of three(3)years. Terms shall expire on May 1 of the year of
the termination. The City Council shall designate the chairman of the Commission from
among the members thereof."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
elk Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage in
the manner provided by law.
