AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G38-04 CLASSIFYING TERRITORY IN THE
PTFR PLANNED TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT
(Copper Springs Subdivision—3400 and 3401 Water Road)
WHEREAS, on March 31, 2004 the City Council of the City of Elgin adopted Ordinance
No. 38-04 which classified newly annexed territory in the PTFR Planned Two Family Residence
District; and
WHEREAS, such ordinance includes a scrivener's error as to the street setback
requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 2G5a of Ordinance No. G38-04 be and is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"a. Street Setback. The minimum required setback for a building
from a street lot line shall be twenty-five (25) linear feet."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage in the
manner provided by law.
