I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed and acting
municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois.
I further certify that on April 2, 2003, the Corporate Authorities of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. S5-03, which provided by its terms
that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. S5-03, including the Ordinance and
a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the
municipal building commencing on April 14, 2003, and continuing for at least ten days
thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public inspection upon
request in the office of the municipal clerk.

Ordinance No. S5-03
AN ORDINANCE
ADOPTING AND PUBLISHING AN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, 65 ILCS 5/11-13-19 provides that the corporate
authorities shall cause to be published each year a map clearly
showing the existing zoning uses, divisions, restrictions,
regulations and classifications of a municipality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That the map attached hereto as Exhibit 1
entitled "City of Elgin 2003 Zoning Map" dated March, 2003 be
and is hereby adopted as the official zoning map for the City of
Elgin, Illinois .
Section 2 . That the city' s department of planning and
neighborhood services is hereby directed to cause the
publication of the City of Elgin' s official zoning map.
Section 3 . That the following fees are hereby established
"'' to be charged to any person desiring a copy of such official
zoning map or portions thereof to defray the cost of publication
of the official zoning map: The city-wide map - $20 . 00 ; each
quadrant map - $15 . 00 ; the entire five map set - $75 . 00 .
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.
Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect upon its passage and publication in the manner provided
by law.
