AN ORDINANCE
RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY TO AB AREA BUSINESS DISTRICT
(361 Hickory Place)
WHEREAS, written application has been made to reclassify
certain property located at 361 Hickory Place from RC3 Residence
Conservation District to AB Area Business District; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Commission has conducted
a public hearing after due notice and submitted its written
findings and recommendations to the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City has reviewed the
recommendations of the Planning and Development Commission and
concurs in such recommendations .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 19 . 07 , Section 19 . 07 . 060 entitled
"Zoning District Map" of the Elgin Municipal Code, as amended, be
and the same is hereby further amended by excluding from the RC3
Residence Conservation District and including in the AB Area
Business District, the following described property:
THE WEST HALF OF LOT 2 OF BROWN' S SUBDIVISION OF
LOT 13 OF P.J. KIMBALL SENIOR' S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
ELGIN, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS (PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS
361 HICKORY PLACE) .
Section 2 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect immediately after its passage in the manner provided by law.
