I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed and acting
municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois.
I further certify that on March 27, 2002, the Corporate Authorities of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G23-02 entitled An Ordinance
Establishing Certain Parking Restrictions Within the Civic Center Parking Deck, which
provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G23-02, including the Ordinance and
a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the
municipal building, commencing on March 29, 2002, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public inspection
upon request in the office of the municipal clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CIVIC CENTER PARKING DECK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by adding to the list of tow-away zones under Section 11 . 60 .208A
the following:
5 . Civic Center Parking Deck, located at the
southwest corner of Douglas Avenue and Symphony Way,
approximately 120 stalls located on the top level ,
between the hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m. , Monday
through Friday.
6 . Civic Center Parking Deck, located at the
southwest corner of Douglas Avenue and Symphony Way, 50
stalls in the basement level .
Section 2 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by adding to the list of two hour parking zones under Section
11 . 60 . 084 the following :
Civic Center Parking Deck, located at the southwest
corner of Douglas Avenue and Symphony Way, between the
hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m. , Monday through Friday,
excluding the approximately 120 stalls located on the top
level and 50 stalls in the basement level .
Section 3 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by adding to the list of areas where parking is prohibited under
Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
Civic Center Parking Deck, located at the southwest
corner of Douglas Avenue and Symphony Way, excluding the
50 stalls in the basement level , between the hours of
4 : 00 a.m. and 6 : 00 a.m.
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.

Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the man er .rovided by law.
