AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF ELGIN
(May Street)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by deleting from the list of streets where parking is prohibited
under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
May Street . May Street, south side thereof, from
Wellington Avenue to St . Charles Street .
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by adding to the list of streets where parking is prohibited under
Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
May Street . May Street, south side thereof, from
Wellington Avenue to Raymond Street .
May Street . May Street, south side thereof, from
Grace Street to St . Charles Street .
Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided by law.
