AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 11 .60 ENTITLED "STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING"
OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED
(Towaway Zones)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 11 . 60 entitled "Stopping, Standing and
Parking" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is
hereby further amended by adding to the list of designated "Tow-away
Zones : Parking Lots" in Section 11 . 60 .208A the following:
"5 . Riverside Water Treatment Plant Parking Lots :
Bounded by West River Road (North) , Judson College (South) ,
a service road (East) , and the Treatment Plan Facilities
(West) ;
6 . Airlite Water Treatment Plant Parking Lot :
Bounded by the Chemical and Filter Building (North) , a
Commercial building located at 40 Airlite Street (South) ,
Airlite Street (East) and the Plant Chlorine Buildings
(West) ;
rm. 7 . Slade Avenue Booster Station/Meter shop Parking
Lots : Bounded by the Fox River (North) and (West) , Slade
Avenue Forest Preserve (South) , and the Commonwealth Edison
Power Sub-Station (East) . "
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and publication in pamphlet form
in the manner provided by law.
