AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE FEES FOR ELEVATOR INSPECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 16 . 48 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by amending
Subsection D of Section 16 . 48 . 030 entitled "Miscellaneous
Construction; All Uses" to read as follows :
D. Elevators, Escalators, Dumbwaiters and Docklifts .
Per unit $ 400 . 00
Per each annual, semi-annual
or reinspection $ 50 . 00
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after January 1, 20022'. _
