AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G4-01 ESTABLISHING A PAY PLAN FOR
CERTAIN APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No. G4-01 is hereby
amended to provide that the position of Life Guards - WSI Certified
shall in addition to the hourly rates stated in Ordinance No. G4-Ol
(the "Stated Rates" ) be paid $ . 50 per hour in addition to the
Stated Rates for each hour worked during the time period of
August 12 through August 19, 2001, $ . 75 per hour in addition to the
Stated Rates for each hour worked during the time period of
August 25 through August 26, 2001 and $1 . 00 per hour in addition to
the Stated Rates for each hour worked during the time period of
September 3 through September 5, 2001 .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect as of August 8, 2001 .
