municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois.
I further certify that on July 11 , 2001, the Corporate Authorities of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G54-01 entitled An Ordinance
Amending Certain Traffic and Parking Restrictions Within the Central Business District,
which provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G54-01, including the Ordinance and
a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the
municipal building, commencing on July 16, 2001, and continuing for at least ten days
thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public inspection upon
request in the office of the municipal clerk.

Ordinance No . G54-01
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by deleting from the list of thirty minute parking zones under
Section 11 . 60 . 082 the following:
DuPage Street, north side thereof, from South Spring
Street east to ten feet (101 ) west of the railroad
tracks .
North Spring Street, west side, from Highland Avenue
to a point approximately one hundred forty feet (140 ' )
southerly thereof .
South Spring Street, east side thereof, from the
Chicago and Northwestern Railroad tracks southerly to
DuPage Street .
Section 2 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by adding to the list of thirty minute parking zones under Section
11 . 60 . 082 the following:
South Spring Street, east side thereof, from the
Chicago and Northwestern Railroad tracks southerly for a
distance of twenty (201 ) feet .
Section 3 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by deleting from the list of one hour parking zones under Section
11 . 60 . 083 the following:
DuPage Street, north side thereof, from Center/Villa
Street west to ten feet (101 ) east of the railroad
tracks .
DuPage Street, south side thereof, from South Spring
Street to Center/Villa Street .
Fulton Street , south side thereof, from South Spring
Street to Villa Street .
�^ North Grove Avenue, both sides thereof, from East
t Highland Avenue to East Chicago Street .
South Grove Avenue, east side thereof, from South
Spring Street to East Chicago Street .
South Grove Avenue, west side thereof, from East
Chicago Street to a point five (51 ) south of the
centerline of DuPage Court .
South Grove Avenue, west side thereof, from a point
eighty feet (801 ) south of the center line of DuPage
Court to South Spring Street .
Section 4 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by adding Section 11 . 60 . 083 . 2 entitled "Ninety Minute Parking
Zones" to read as follows :
11 . 60 . 083 . 2 NINETY MINUTE PARKING ZONES :
DuPage Street, north side thereof, from South Spring
Street east to ten feet (101 ) west of the railroad
tracks .
North Spring Street, west side, from Highland Avenue
to a point approximately one hundred forty feet (1401 )
southerly thereof .
South Spring Street, east side thereof, from the
Chicago and Northwestern Railroad tracks southerly to
DuPage Street, except for the northerly-most twenty (20 ' )
feet .
DuPage Street, north side thereof, from Center/Villa
Street west to ten feet (101 ) east of the railroad
tracks .
DuPage Street, south side thereof, from South Spring
Street to Center/Villa Street .
Fulton Street, south side thereof, from South Spring
Street to Villa Street .
North Grove Avenue, both sides thereof, from East
Highland Avenue to East Chicago Street .
South Grove Avenue, east side thereof, from Prairie
Street to Fulton Street .
South Grove Avenue, west side thereof, from East
Chicago Street to a point five (51 ) south of the
centerline of DuPage Court .
South Grove Avenue, west side thereof, from a point
eighty feet (801 ) south of the center line of DuPage
Court to South Spring Street .
Section 5 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.
Section 6 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided by law.
