AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO
THE LIST OF STOP INTERSECTIONS
(Bent, Congress and Illinois)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by removing from the list of stop intersections uigder Section
11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Congress Street at Illinois Avenue .
Section 2 . That Title 11 , Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further amended
by adding to the list of stop intersections under Section 11 . 32 . 030
the following:
Bent Street at Illinois Avenue .
Illinois Street at Congress Street .
Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby
repealed.
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided by law.
