AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE PAY PLAN FOR CERTAIN APPOINTED OFFICERS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No. G82-99
entitled "An Ordinance Establishing a Pay Plan for Certain
Appointed Officers and Employees of the City of Elgin" passed
December 15, 1999, be and is hereby amended by deleting from
the Department Heads section Sub-Group 3 the position title
"Community Relations/Organizational Development Director" and
by adding to the Department Heads section Sub-Group 2 Benefit
Group A the position title "Assistant City Manager for Special
Services" .
Section 2 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No . G82-99
entitled "An Ordinance Establishing a Pay Plan for Certain
Appointed Officers and Employees of the City of Elgin" passed
December 15 , 1999, be and is hereby further amended by
deleting from the Department Heads section Sub-Group 3 the
position title "Director of Communications" and by adding to
the Department Heads section Sub-Group 2 Benefit Group A the
position title "Director of Communications" .
Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect upon its passage and publication in the manner
provided by law.
