AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 2 . 12 OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976 ,
AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "CITY MANAGER"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 2 . 12 of the Elgin Municipal
Code, 1976 , as amended, entitled "City Manager" be and is
hereby further amended by adding Section 2 . 12 . 145 thereto to
read as follows :
"2 . 12 . 145 ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER FOR SPECIAL SERVICES
There is hereby created the office of assistant
city manager for special services . The assistant
city manager for special services shall be appointed
by the city manager. The assistant city manager for
special services shall have such duties as assigned
by the city manager. "
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect upon its passage and publication in the manner
provided by law.
