G26-00 �.. Ordinance No . G26-00 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY AT 616 WRIGHT AVENUE WHEREAS, written application has been made to reclassify certain property located at 616 Wright Avenue from CI Commercial Industrial District to RC2 Residence Conservation District; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Commission has conducted a public hearing after due notice and submitted its written findings and recommendations to the City Council ; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations of the Planning and Development Commission and concurs in such recommendations . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That Chapter 19 . 07, Section 19 . 07 . 600 entitled "Zoning District Map" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following paragraph: "The boundaries hereinafter laid out in the ' Zoning District Map' , as amended, be and are hereby altered by excluding from the CI Commercial Industrial District and including in the RC2 Residence Conservation District, the following described property: THE SOUTHWESTERLY 50 . 00 FEET AS MEASURED ON THE SOUTHEASTERLY AND THE NORTHWESTERLY LINES OF THE FOLLOWING TRACT: THAT PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 9, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS : COMMENCING ON THE WEST LINE OF WRIGHT AVENUE AT A POINT 100 . 00 FEET SOUTHERLY ALONG SAID LINE FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF VILLA STREET; THENCE SOUTHERLY ON SAID WEST LINE OF WRIGHT AVENUE 100 . 00 FEET; THENCE NORTHWESTERLY PARALLEL WITH VILLA STREET 158 . 44 FEET; THENCE NORTHERLY 100 . 00 FEET TO A POINT WHICH IS 154 . 22 FEET FROM THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY PARALLEL WITH VILLA STREET 154 .22 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; ALL IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS (PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 616 WRIGHT AVENUE) .
