AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE PAY PLAN FOR CERTAIN APPOINTED OFFICERS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No. G2-99
entitled "An Ordinance Establishing a Pay Plan for Certain
Appointed Officers and Employees of the City of Elgin" is
hereby amended by adding the position of Police Records
Supervisor to Range 38, Benefit Group C.
Section 2 . That Section 3 .04 . 040 of the Elgin Municipal
Code, 1976, as amended, entitled "Exceptions from Classified
Service" be and is hereby further amended by adding to the
listing of positions therein the reference to Police Records
Supervisor.
Section 3 . That all ordinances or part of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect upon its passage and publication in the manner
provided by law.
