G80-98 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6.06 ENTITLED "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS" OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED, (GRAND VICTORIA CASINO) ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ON THIS 9TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1998 Published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council of the City of Elgin, Kane took and Cook Counties, Illinois, on this 11th day of September 1998. I further certify that on September 9, 1998, the Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G80-98, entitled An Ordinance Amending Chapter 6.06 Entitled "Alcoholic Liquor Dealers" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as Amended, (Grand Victoria Casino), which provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form. The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G80-98, including the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building, commencing on September 11, 1998, and continuing for at '"" least ten days thereafter. Municipal Clerk (SEAL) Ordinance No. G80-98 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 . 06 ENTITLED "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS" OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED (Grand Victoria Casino) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That Section 6 . 06 . 040P of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended to read as follows : "P. Class N. For the retail sale of alcoholic liquor at the riverboat gaming pavilion on the premises commonly known as 250 South Grove Avenue, Elgin, Illinois , in the following areas : 1 . First Floor - Designated restaurant area in conjunction with the service of meals for consumption on the premises . 2 . First Floor - Designated food court, snack bar and all seating areas for consumption on the premises . 3 . First Floor - Designated tavern area for consumption on premises . 4 . Second Floor- - Designated banquet facility for consumption on premises . The term "premises" shall include any adjoining interior areas utilized in conjunction with the first floor designated food court, snack bar and seating areas . The term 'premises" shall also include any adjoining exterior terrace areas utilized in conjunction with the designated area. The first floor designated tavern area shall be subject to the restrictions for a Class A license as set forth under Section 6 . 06 . 140(0) as amended, relating to the admission of persons who have not attained the age of 21 years . The license fee per years is $1, 150 . Class N-1 . For the retail sale of alcoholic liquor at the riverboat gaming pavilion on the premises commonly known as 250 South Grove Avenue, Elgin, Illinois , in the following areas : emik 1 . Second Floor - Designated lounge area for consumption on the premises with admission thereto being limited to members and their guests only of the private club known as the Brighton Lounge. The term "premises" shall include the adjoining exterior terrace areas used in conjunction with the designated area. Said designated lounge area shall be subject to the restrictions for a Class A license as set forth under Section 6 . 06 . 140 (0) , as amended, relating to the admission of persons who have not attained the age of 21 years . The license fee per year is $1, 150 . " Section 2 . That Section 6 . 06 . 115 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, entitled "BASSET Training Requirements" be and is hereby further amended by adding to the listing of licenses in Subparagraph A thereof a reference to the Class N-1 license. Section 3 . That Section 6 . 06 . 117 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, entitled "Service Hours" be and is hereby further amended by adding to the listing of licenses under Subparagraph A thereof a reference to the Class N-1 license. Section 4 . That upon passage of this ordinance the currently issued Class N license issued for the license year ending April 30, 1999, shall without further action be deemed to be amended to a Class N and N-1 license. Section 5 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed. Section 6 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication in the manner provided by law.
