I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed and acting
municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois.
I further certify that on August 26, 1998, the Corporate Authorities of
such municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G77-98, entitled An Ordinance
Amending Certain Traffic and Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin, which
provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G77-98, including the Ordinance
and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted
in the municipal building, commencing on August 28, 1998, and continuing for at least
ten days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public
inspection upon request in the office of the municipal clerk.

Ordinance No. G77-98
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Subsection C of Section 11 . 20 . 030
entitled "Speed Regulations" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976 ,
as amended, be and is hereby further amended by adding the
following:
N. Airlite Street between Larkin Avenue and
Country Knoll Lane.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Raymond Street. All vehicles being operated on
Raymond Street must stop at Gifford Place before
crossing or entering the same.
Salem Road. All vehicles being operated on Salem
Road must stop at Jamestown Lane before crossing or
entering the same.
Valley Creek Drive. All vehicles being operated
on Valley Creek Drive must stop at N. Airlite Street
before crossing or entering the same.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
N. Airlite Street. N. Airlite Street, both
sides thereof, from Woodridge Court to Valley Creek
Drive, between the hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and 3 : 00 p.m.
on school days .
Section 4 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of two hour parking zones under
Section 11 . 60 . 084 the following:
Ford Avenue, both side thereof, from Dundee
Avenue to Preston Avenue.
,,, Section 5 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 6 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided by
