AN ORDINANCE
RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE GI GENERAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
AND GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
( 1550 Todd Farm Drive)
WHEREAS, written application has been made for a
reclassification from AB Area Business District to GI General
Industrial District conditional use for a planned development
at 1550 Todd Farm Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Commission conducted
a public hearing after due notice by publication and has
submitted its findings of fact; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin has
considered the findings and recommendation of the Zoning and
Subdivision Hearing Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That a reclassification from AB Area Business
District to GI General Industrial District conditional use for
a planned development at 1550 Todd Farm Drive and legally
low described as follows :
LOT 9 OF WINDSOR' S COMMERCE CENTER; IN THE CITY
OF ELGIN, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS . (COMMONLY KNOWN AS
1550 TODD FARM DRIVE) .
be and is hereby granted subject to the following conditions :
a. Substantial conformance to the Statement of
Purpose and Conformance and Building Elevation
submitted by Penny Wuestman, dated May 20, 1998
b. Substantial conformance to the Site Plan for
the Windsor Development Corporation prepared by
Harris Architects, Inc. , dated September 30, 1998
