Counties, Illinois .
I further certify that on May 13, 1998, the Corporate
Authorities of such municipality passed and approved Ordinance
No. G40-98, entitled An Ordinance Amending Chapter 6 . 06 Entitled
"Alcoholic Liquor Dealers" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976 , as
Amended, Regarding Class G Liquor Licenses, which provided by its
terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G40-98, including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy
of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on May 14, 1998, and continuing for at least ten days
thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for
public inspection upon request in the office of the municipal
clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
�w AMENDING CHAPTER 6 . 06 ENTITLED "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS" OF
t' THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976 , AS AMENDED
REGARDING CLASS G LIQUOR LICENSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Section 6 . 06 . 040 of the Elgin Municipal
Code, 1976 , as amended, entitled "License-Classes-Fees" be and
is hereby further amended by amending Subparagraph J thereof to
read as follows :
"J. Class G. For the retail sale of alcoholic
liquors in buildings of golf courses owned by the
city in connection with the operation of an
established food serving facility during times when
food is dispensed for consumption upon the premises .
Also for the retail sale and consumption of alcoholic
liquor limited to beer and wine only by the city to
daily fee customers and pass holders playing golf at
the city owned Spartan Meadows Golf Course,
notwithstanding the prohibitions regarding the
possession and consumption of alcoholic liquors in
parks as provided by Sections 6 . 06 . 150B, 12 . 08 . 0101
or other provisions of this code. License fee per
year for operation by the city is no fee and
tek operation by independent contractor is $1, 000 . 00 . "
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and publication in the manner
provided by law.
