AN ORDINANCE
RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY AT 1420, 1450 and 1490 CRISPIN DRIVE
WHEREAS, written application has been made to reclassify
certain property located at 1420, 1450 and 1490 Crispin Drive
from ORI Office Research Industrial District to GI General
Industrial District; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Commission has
conducted a public hearing after due notice and submitted its
written findings and recommendations to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations
of the Planning and Development Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Chapter 19 . 08, Section 19 . 08 . 020 entitled
"Zoning District Map" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding
thereto the following paragraph:
"The boundaries hereinafter laid out in the
' Zoning District Map' , as amended, be and are hereby
altered by excluding from the ORI Office Research
Industrial District and including in the GI General
Industrial District, the following described
property:
LOTS 25, 26 AND 27 IN FOX BLUFF CORPORATE CENTER
IN THE CITY OF ELGIN, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. "
Section 2 . That the reclassification of the above
described properties be and is hereby subject to the following
conditions :
Access shall be restricted as follow:
No direct access to South McLean Boulevard.
No access to Crispin Drive closer than 70
feet east of the stop bar at the Crispin/South
McLean intersection.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law and shall be published in pamphlet form by
authority of the City Council .
