G28-98 Ordinance No. G28-98 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ( 866 St . Charles Street) WHEREAS, written application has been made for a NB Neighborhood Business District conditional use for a planned development at 866 St . Charles Street; and WHEREAS, the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board conducted a public hearing after due notice by publication and has submitted its findings of fact; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin has considered the findings and recommendation of the Zoning and Subdivision Hearing Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That a conditional use for a planned development at 866 St. Charles Street and legally described as follows : LOTS 3 IN BLOCK IV OF WILLIAM REDEKER' S SECOND ADDITION TO ELGIN, IN THE CITY OF ELGIN, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS ( SAID PROPERTY IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS 866 ST. CHARLES STREET) . be and is hereby granted subject to the following conditions : A. The use and development of land and structures shall be subject to the provisions of Chapter 19 . 10, Land Use. In addition to the land uses allowed in the NB Neighborhood Business District, the following enumerated "land uses" [SR] shall be allowed as a "permitted use" [SR] : Services Division. 1 . Carpet and upholstery cleaning agents without plants on the premises ( 7217 ) . 2 . Welding repair ( 7692 ) . Agricultural Division. 3 . Lawn and garden services ( 0782 ) . Construction Division. 4 .
