municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois.
I further certify that on March 11, 1998, the Corporate Authorities of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G20-98, entitled An Ordinance
Amending Certain Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin, which provided by its
terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G20-98, including the Ordinance
and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted
in the municipal building, commencing on March 13, 1998, and continuing for at least
erk ten days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public
inspection upon request in the office of the municipal clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60. 050P the following:
Jewett Street. Jewett Street, west side thereof
from Holly Street to Standish Street, between the
hours of 6 : 00 a.m. and 3 : 00 p.m. on school days .
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
Jewett Street. Jewett Street, east side
thereof, from one hundred eleven feet north of the
centerline of Standish Street northerly to two
hundred seventy-one feet north of the centerline of
Standish Street, between the hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and
4 : 00 p.m.on school days .
Poplar Creek Drive. Poplar Creek Drive, both
sides thereof, from Bode Road to Rosewood Court .
Poplar Creek Drive. Poplar Creek Drive, west
side, from Rosewood Court to East Chicago Street from
November first to April first.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of tow-away zones under
Section 11 . 60 . 205 the following:
Poplar Creek Drive, both sides thereof, from
Bode Road to Rosewood Court.
Section 4 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of tow-away zones under Section
11 . 60 . 205 the following:
Poplar Creek Drive, both sides thereof, from
tow East Chicago Street to Bode Road.
eft- Section 5 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of limited parking areas--buses
only under Section 11 . 60 . 087 the following:
Ann Street, on the south side of the street,
from Hill Avenue to a point 408 feet east of Hill
Avenue.
Jewett Street, on the east side of the street,
from Standish Street to Holly Street, between the
hours of 6 : 00 a.m. and 3 :00 p.m.on school days.
Section 6 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 7 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided by
law.
