I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed and acting
municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane Counties, Illinois.
I further certify that on August 13, 1997, the Corporate Authorities of
such municipality passed and approved Ordinance No.G39-97, entitled An Ordinance
Amending Certain Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin, which provided by its
terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G39-97, including the Ordinance
and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted
elk in the municipal building, commencing on August 15, 1997, and continuing for at least
ten days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public
inspection upon request in the office of the municipal clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
North Street, north side thereof, from one
hundred ten feet east of the intersection with
Douglas Avenue.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
North Street, north side thereof, from North
Spring Street to a point one hundred twenty-nine feet
west of North Spring Street.
North Street, north side thereof, from two
hundred seventeen feet west of North Spring Street to
Douglas Avenue.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of two-hour parking zones
under Section 11 . 60 . 084 the following:
North Street, north side thereof, from one
hundred ten feet east of the intersection with
Douglas Avenue to one hundred forty-six feet east of
the intersection with Douglas Avenue, a distance of
thirty-six feet.
Section 4 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of two-hour parking zones under
Section 11 . 60 . 084 the following:
North Street, north side thereof, from one
hundred twenty-nine feet west of North Spring Street
to two hundred seventeen feet west of North Spring
Street.
eSection 5 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 6 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided by
law.
