Authorities of such municipality passed and approved Ordinance
No. G29-97, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain Parking
Restrictions Within the City of Elgin, which provided by its
terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.

the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy
of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on June 27 , 1997 , and continuing for at least ten days
thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for
public inspection upon request in the office of the municipal
clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of fifteen-minute parking
zones under Section 11 . 60 . 081 the following:
Highland Avenue, south side thereof, from twenty
feet west of the west right-of-way line of Spring
Street westerly to one hundred twenty feet west of
the west right-of-way line of Spring Street.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of thirty-minute parking zones
under Section 11 . 60 . 082 the following:
Highland Avenue, south side thereof, from twenty
` feet west of the west right-of-way line of Spring
e " Street westerly to one hundred twenty feet west of
the west right-of-way line of Spring Street.
Perry Street, east side thereof, from 75 feet
south of Locust Street to Crosby Street.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of limited parking areas for
buses only under Section 11 . 60. 087 the following:
Perry Street, on the east side of the street,
from 75 feet south of Locust Street to a point 165
feet south of Locust Street, between the hours of
2 : 00 p.m. and 3 : 00 p.m. on school days .
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided by
law.
