AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING CERTAIN
TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Healy Street. All vehicles being operated on
Healy Street must stop at Barrett Street before
crossing or entering the same.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
South Street. South Street, north side
thereof, from South Alfred Avenue to a point 175
feet east of South Alfred Avenue.
Gasket Drive. Gasket Drive, both sides
thereof, from Gifford Road to its terminus .
Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
