I further certify that on April 23, 1997, the Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved Ordinance No. G14-97 , entitled An Ordinance Amending Chapter 6 . 06 Entitled "Alcoholic Liquor Dealers" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976 , as Amended, which provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form. tek The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G14-97, including the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building, commencing on April 24 , 1997 , and continuing for at least ten days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public inspection upon request in the office of the municipal clerk. DATED at Elgin, Illinois, on April 24, 1997 . 7 /k_ Gz Municipal Clerk (SEAL) eft Ordinance No. G14-97 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 . 06 ENTITLED "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR DEALERS" OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That Section 6 . 06 . 095D of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further amended to read as follows : "D. The applicant shall post a $200 . 00 bond per sign with the liquor commission for use of the required signs . Said bond shall be refunded to the applicant upon return of the sign within 10 (ten) days following the conclusion of the meeting for which the sign was posted. In the event that the sign is not returned to the city within ten ( 10) days of the completion of the scheduled hearing for which the sign was posted, the $200 . 00 bond shall be forfeited with the fee applied to the cost of replacement of such sign. " Section 2 . That Section 6 . 06 . 128 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby added to the Elgin Municipal Code to read as follows : "6 . 06 . 128 POSTING OF LIQUOR LICENSES. Every licensee shall cause his liquor licenses, both city and state, to be posted in plain view in a conspicuous space on the licensed premises . " Section 3 . That all ordinance or portions of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed. Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and publication in the manner provided by law. -2;eL.
