AN ORDINANCE
VACATING A PORTION OF A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
(Fox Bluff Corporate Center)
WHEREAS, the public interest will be served by vacating a
portion of a sanitary sewer easement in the City of Elgin,
Kane County, Illinois, as shown in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, said property is not necessary to serve the
public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That a portion of a sanitary sewer easement
in the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois, legally described
as follows :
Part of a 20 . 00 foot wide sanitary sewer
easement per Document Number 1526952 over part of
Lot 21 of Fox Bluff Corporate Center, being a
subdivision of part of Section 27, Township 41
'".... North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
the center line of said easement described as
follows; commencing at the most northerly corner of
said Lot 21; thence South 50 degrees 46 minutes 57
seconds East, along the northeasterly line of said
Lot 21, a distance of 8 . 14 feet for the point of
beginning of said center line; thence South 01
degree 07 minutes 03 seconds East, along said center
line, a distance of 398 . 81 feet to a point on the
southwesterly line of said Lot 21 that lies 105 . 15
feet, measured along said southwesterly line,
northwesterly of the most southerly corner of said
Lot 21 and being the terminus of said center line.
The side lines of said described easement lying
between said northeasterly and southwesterly lines
of Lot 21 .
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2 . That a certified copy of this ordinance
together with a plat of said vacated right of way be filed
with the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
