I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed
and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane
Counties, Illinois .
I further certify that on March 13, 1996, the
Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved
Ordinance No. G8-96, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain
Traffic and Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin, which
provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet
form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G8-96, including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on March 15, 1996, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
N. Grove Avenue. N. Grove Avenue, west side
thereof, from Plum Street to Summit Street.
Jansen Farm Court. Jansen Farm Court cul-de-sac.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Aronomink Circle. All vehicles being operated
on Aronomink Circle must stop at Baltusrol Drive
before crossing or entering the same.
Baltusrol Drive. All vehicles being operated on
Baltusrol Drive must stop at Mission Hills Drive
before crossing or entering the same.
Castle Pine Circle. All vehicles being operated
on Castle Pine Circle must stop at Aronomink Circle
before crossing or entering the same.
Jansen Farm Court. All vehicles being operated
on Jansen Farm Court must stop at Jansen Farm Drive
before crossing or entering the same.
St. Andrews Circle. All vehicles being operated
on St. Andrews Circle must stop at Indian Wells
Circle before crossing or entering the same.
Savannah Road. All vehicle being operated on
Savannah Road must stop at Shenandoah Trail before
crossing or entering the same.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 14 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding Section 11 . 14 . 035 to read as follows :
11 . 14 . 035 LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED.
Left turns are prohibited at the following
locations :
A. From Larkin High School driveway approach
onto Larkin Avenue, to westbound Larkin Avenue, from
2 :45 p.m. to 3 : 15 p.m. on days when school is in
session.
B. From the two Larkin High School driveway
approaches onto McLean Boulevard, to northbound
McLean Boulevard, from 2 :45 p.m. to 3 : 15 p.m. on
days when school is in session.
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
