and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane
Counties, Illinois .
I further certify that on December 6, 1996, the
Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved
Ordinance No. G67-96, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain
Traffic and Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin, which
provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet
form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G67-96, including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on December 6, 1996, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

Ordinance No. G67-96
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of one-hour parking zones
under Section 11 . 60. 083 the following:
DuPage Street, both sides thereof, from South
Spring Street to Center/Villa Street.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of one-hour parking zones under
Section 11 . 60. 083 the following:
DuPage Street, south side thereof, from South
Spring Street to Center/Villa Street.
elk DuPage Street, north side thereof, from
Center/Villa Street west to ten feet east of the
railroad tracks .
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of thirty-minute parking zones
under Section 11 . 60 . 082 the following:
DuPage Street, north side thereof, from South
Spring Street east to ten feet west of the railroad
tracks .
Section 4 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of two-hour parking zones under
Section 11 . 60 . 084 the following:
N. Jane Drive, east side thereof, from Larkin
Avenue northerly for a distance 270 feet from
8 : 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m.
Section 5 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:

elk Dixon Avenue. All vehicles being operated on
Dixon Avenue must stop at Lavoie Avenue before
crossing or entering the same.
Porter Street. All vehicles being operated on
Porter Street must stop at Addison Street before
crossing or entering the same.
Section 6 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 7 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
