Ordinance No. G40-96 , entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain
Parking Restriction Within the City of Elgin (Fire Lanes) , which
provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet
form.

The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G40-96, including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on August 15, 1996 , and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of designated fire lanes
located on noncity property under Section 11 . 60 . 065A the
following:
6 . Within the parking lot of the Jewel/Osco
located at 822 Summit Street immediately south and
adjacent to the store;
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of designated fire lanes located
on noncity property under Section 11 . 60 . 065A the following:
15 . Within the parking lot of the Jewel/Osco
located at 1660 Larkin Avenue immediately south and
adjacent to the store;

16 . Within the parking lot of the Jewel/Osco
located at 1040 Summit Street immediately south and
adjacent to the store.
Section 3 . That numbers 1 through 14 of Subsection A of
Section 11 . 60 . 065 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976 , as
amended, be and are hereby renumbered 1 through 15 .
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and publication in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by w.
