and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane
Counties , Illinois .
I further certify that on June 12, 1996 , the
Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved
Ordinance No. G26-96, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain
Traffic and Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin,
which provided by its terms that it should be published in
pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G26-96 , including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on June 13, 1996, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

Ordinance No. G26-96
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
Gifford Street. Gifford Street, west side
thereof, from Summit Street to Chicago Street.
Hackberry Court. Hackberry Court, both sides
thereof, between the hours of 12 : 00 midnight and
6 : 00 A.M.
Tennyson Court . Tennyson Court, west side
thereof.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
North Street on the north side thereof between
Douglas Avenue and Brook Street.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 24 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of one-way streets in the City
of Elgin under Section 11 ,24.020D the following:
Tennyson Court.
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
