No. G22-96 , entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain Traffic and
Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin which provided by
its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.

the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on May 9 , 1996 , and continuing for at least ten days
thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for
public inspection upon request in the office of the municipal
clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
N. Grove Avenue. N. Grove Avenue, west side
thereof, from McBride Street to Lincoln Avenue.
N. Grove Avenue, west side thereof, from
Lincoln Avenue to a point 250 feet north of Lincoln
Avenue.
N. Grove Avenue. N. Grove Avenue, west side
thereof, from Slade Avenue to a point 450 south of
Slade Avenue
Center Street. Center Street, west side
thereof, from Kimball Street to Lincoln Avenue.
Park Street. Park Street, north side thereof,
from Liberty Street to Preston Avenue, between the
hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m. on even numbered
days .
Park Street. Park Street, south side thereof,
from Liberty Street to Preston Avenue, between the
hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m. on odd numbered
days .
State Street ( Illinois Route 31) . State Street
( Illinois Route 31 ) , east side thereof, from the
Illinois Route 20 by-pass to Washburn Street.
Jefferson Street. Jefferson Street, north side
thereof, from Douglas Avenue to Spring Street.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Sumac Lane. All vehicles being operated
northbound on Sumac Lane must stop at Sebring Circle
before crossing or entering same.
Sebring Circle. All vehicles being operated
northbound on Sebring Circle must stop at Sebring
Circle before crossing or entering same.
Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
