I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed
and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane
Counties, Illinois .
I further certify that on January 10, 1996, the
Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved
Ordinance No. G1-96, entitled An Ordinance Amending Section
9 . 08. 050 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as Amended, Entitled
"License Annual Fee" (Food Service Business) , which provided by
e.. its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G1-96, including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on January 11, 1996, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 9 . 08 . 050 OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976,
AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "LICENSE ANNUAL FEE"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Subsection D of Section 9 . 08 . 050
entitled "License Annual Fee" of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, be and is hereby amended to read as follows :
D. Late payment penalty fee:
All permit fees for the annual renewal of
permits are due by December 31 of each year.
Commencing February 1, 1996 establishments failing
to submit the required fee by December 31 shall be
assessed a late payment penalty fee of ten percent
( 10%) per month of the license fee. "
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
