AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE WATER RATES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Section 14 . 04 . 180A2 of Chapter 14 . 04 of
the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby
further amended to read as follows:
2 . For each hundred cubic feet or fraction
thereof of water supplied, the following rates shall
apply:
1996 1997 1998 1999
$1 . 74 $1 . 91 $2 . 06 $2 . 23
Section 2 . That all ordinances or part of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
r. Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after January 1, 1996 .
