I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed
and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane
Counties, Illinois .
I further certify that on October 11, 1995, the
Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved
Ordinance No. G76-95, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain
Traffic and Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin, which
provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet
form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G76-95, including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on October 12, 1995, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
Douglas Avenue, east side thereof, southerly
from the intersection with Dexter Avenue one-half
block.
Van Street. Van Street, south side, from
DuBois Avenue to Commonwealth Avenue, between the
hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m. on school days .
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
Holmes Road. Holmes Road, both side thereof,
from N. McLean Boulevard to the dead-end.
Church Road. Church Road, south side thereof,
from 617 Church Road for a distance of 75 feet west.
Harvey Street. Harvey Street, both sides
thereof, from the northern most driveway of the
property located at 440 Washington Street to Mill
Street.
Slade Avenue. Slade Avenue, south side
thereof, from Prospect Boulevard to Duncan Avenue.
Douglas Avenue, east side thereof, from North
Street for a distance 200 feet north.
Douglas Avenue, east side thereof, from 245
feet north of North Street to Kimball Street.
Douglas Avenue, west side thereof, from Kimball
Street for a distance of 210 feet south.
Douglas Avenue, west side thereof, from 255
feet south of Kimball Street to North Street.
Douglas Avenue, east side thereof, from
Division Street northerly one-half block.
Van Street, north side thereof, from
Commonwealth Avenue to DuBois Street.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 24 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of one-way streets in the
City of Elgin under Section 11 . 24 . 020(D) the following:
Douglas Avenue from Kimball Street to East
Highland Avenue.
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
