AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 18.28. 050 ENTITLED "SUBDIVISIONS" OF
THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED, AMENDING
STREET DESIGN STANDARDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Section 18.28. 050 of Chapter 18 entitled
"Subdivisions" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended,
be and is hereby amended to read as follows :
"Section 18 .28 . 050 Streets .
D. Barrier type P.C. concrete curb and gutter
shall be installed on all arterial, collector, and
minor streets . A roll type P.C. concrete curb and
gutter may be installed on all cul-de-sac streets .
Curb and gutter shall be designed and constructed in
accordance with city standard specifications . "
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repeated.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and publication in the
manner provided by law.
