I, Dolonna Mecum, certify that I am the duly appointed
and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane
Counties, Illinois .
I further certify that on June 28, 1995, the
Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved
Ordinance No. G41-95, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain
Traffic and Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin which
provided by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet
form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. G41-95, including
the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on June 29, 1995, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

Ordinance No. G41-95
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of yield intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 040 the following:
Dixon Avenue, eastbound and westbound, at
Elizabeth Street.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Chapel Street. All vehicles being operated on
Chapel Street must stop at Division Street before
crossing or entering the same.
College Avenue. All vehicles being operated on
College Avenue must stop at Division Street before
crossing or entering the same.
Dixon Avenue. All vehicles being operated on
Dixon Avenue must stop at Elizabeth Street before
crossing or entering the same.
Surrey Court. All vehicles being operated on
Surrey Court must stop at Maple Lane before crossing
or entering the same.
All vehicles being operated on an unnamed alley
between Orchard Street and Moseley Street must stop
at Holly Street before crossing or entering the same.
All vehicles being operated on an unnamed alley
between Orchard Street and Moseley Street must stop
at Locust Street before crossing or entering the
same.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
S . Jackson Street. S . Jackson Street, west
side thereof, from South Street to Locust Street,
Monday through Friday.

Section 4 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 . 60 . 050P the following:
Executive Drive. Executive Drive, east side
thereof, from Tollgate Road to Church Road.
S. Jackson Street. S. Jackson Street, west
side thereof, from South Street to Locust Street,
Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 : 00 a.m
and 3 : 00 p.m.
Section 5 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 14 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of designated places where
right turns are prohibited against a steady red signal under
Section 11 . 14 . 030 the following:
K. Eastbound on Summit Street turning south
onto Liberty Street.
Section 6 . That Section 11 . 20 . 030(C) of Chapter 11 .20 of
the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby
further amended by adding the following:
College Green Drive between Randall Road and
r Covered Bridge Drive.
Covered Bridge Drive from College Green Drive
to Otter Creek Drive.
Section 7 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 8 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
