and acting municipal clerk of the City of Elgin, Cook and Kane
Counties, Illinois .
I further certify that on October 27, 1993, the
Corporate Authorities of such municipality passed and approved
Ordinance No. G55-93, entitled An Ordinance Amending Certain
Parking Restrictions Within the City of Elgin which provided by
its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.

the Ordinance and a cover sheet thereof, was prepared, and a
copy of such Ordinance was posted in the municipal building,
commencing on October 28, 1993, and continuing for at least ten
days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available
for public inspection upon request in the office of the
municipal clerk.

Ordinance No. G55-93
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 56 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by amending the list of streets where angle parking is
permitted under Section 11 .56 . 020D to read as follows :
D. No parking other than angle parking shall
be permitted upon the following streets :
Keep Avenue, south side thereof, from
Liberty Street to Dundee Avenue.
Spring Street, west side thereof, from a
point 170 feet north of the center line of
Slade Avenue to a point 70 feet south of the
center line of Cooper Avenue.
Van Street, north side thereof, from Wilcox
Avenue to Mallery Street.
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and publication in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
