AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE FEES FOR ELEVATOR INSPECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Chapter 16 .48 of the Elgin Municipal
Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by
amending Subsection B of Section 16 . 48. 030 entitled
"Miscellaneous Construction--All Uses" to read as follows :
B. Elevators, Escalators, Dumbwaiters and Docklifts .
Per unit $ 300 . 00
Per each annual, semi-annual
or reinspection $ 40. 00
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinance in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Oil.. Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and publication in the
manner provided by law.
