AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 2 . 30 ENTITLED "RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION
GRANT PROGRAM" OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976 , AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Chapter 2 . 30 entitled "Residential
Rehabilitation Grant Program" of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976 , as amended, be and is hereby further amended by amending
Section 2 . 30 . 100C to read as follows :
C. Exterior Rehabilitation Program Area-Description
Commencing at the intersection of the
right-of-way of Kimball Street and Brook Street,
thence easterly along Kimball Street to Dundee
Avenue thence Southerly along Dundee Avenue to Park
Street, thence Easterly along Park Street to Grand
Boulevard, thence Northerly along Grand Boulevard to
Franklin Boulevard, thence Westerly along Franklin
Boulevard to North Liberty Street, thence Northerly
along North Liberty Street to Jefferson Street,
thence Westerly along Jefferson Street to North
Grove Avenue, thence Southerly along North Grove
Avenue to Seneca Street, thence Easterly along
Seneca Street to Brook Street, thence Southerly
along Brook Street to that point of beginning at
Kimball Street.
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect immediately after its passage in the manner
provided by law.
