AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Title 11, Chapter 11 .32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Elma Avenue. All vehicles being operated on
Elma Avenue must stop at Blackhawk Drive before
crossing or entering the same.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11.60 .050P the following:
Poplar Creek Drive. Poplar Creek Drive, both
sides thereof, from Bode Road to Rosewood Court.
Poplar Creek Drive. Poplar Creek Drive, west
side, from Rosewood Court to East Chicago Street,
from November 1st to April 1st.
Section 3 . That Title 11, Chapter 11.60 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by deleting from the list of streets where parking is
prohibited under Section 11 .60.050P the following:
Poplar Creek Drive. Poplar Creek Drive, west
side, from Bode Road to East Chicago Street, from
November 1st to April 1st.
Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and publication in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
