AN ORDINANCE
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. S16-91 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING
CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ELGIN" AND ORDINANCE
NO. G65-91 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE CLASSIFYING CERTAIN NEWLY
ANNEXED TERRITORY"

WHEREAS, on September 25, 1991 the City Council of the
City of Elgin passed Ordinance No. S16-91 entitled "An
Ordinance Annexing Certain Territory to the City of Elgin"; and
WHEREAS, on September 25, 1991 the City Council of the
City of Elgin passed Ordinance No. G65-91 entitled "An
Ordinance Classifying Certain Newly Annexed Territory" ; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property filed a voluntary
petition for annexation with the Village of Sleepy Hollow
prior to the passage of Ordinance No. S16-91 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Ordinance No. S16-91 entitled "An
(P Ordinance Annexing Certain Territory to the City of Elgin" and
C Ordinance No. G65-91 entitled "An Ordinance Classifying
Certain Newly Annexed Territory" passed by the Elgin City
Council on September 25, 1991 be and are hereby repealed.
Section 2 . That a certified copy of this ordinance shall
be filed with the Recorder of Deeds, Kane County, Illinois .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
