AN ORDINANCE
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ELGIN
(West Side of Randall Road, North of the Northwest Tollway)
WHEREAS, a petition signed by all the owners of record of
certain territory has been filed with the City Clerk
requesting annexation of said territory to the City of Elgin,
Illinois; and
WHEREAS, said petition includes therein a statement under
oath by all the owners of record that no electors reside on
the subject territory; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of
Elgin and is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality; and
WHEREAS, legal notice of the intent of the City of Elgin
to annex said territory have been forwarded to all public
bodies required to receive said notice in the manner provided
by law.

m NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: 6�3
Section 1. That the territory and lands described as ZD
follows be and are annexed to and made a part of the City of
Elgin and the boundaries of the City of Elgin be and are
hereby enlarged and extended to include in the corporate
boundaries of the City of Elgin said territory:
The South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 and the
Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, all in
Section 30, Township 42 North, Range 8 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in the Township of Dundee,
Kane County, State of Illinois .
Section 2 . That a certified copy of this ordinance
together with an accurate map of said territories shall be
filed with the Recorder of Deeds, Kane County, Illinois .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passa• ,. in the manner provided
by law.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Elgin, Kane and Cook
Counties, which provides fire protection services, is
contemplating annexation of the following described real estate
located on the west side of Randall Road, between the Northwest
Tollway and Illinois Route 72, in Dundee Township:
The South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 and the Southeast
1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, all in Section 30, Township
42 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in the Township of Dundee, Kane County,
Illinois .
Such real estate is part of the Rutland and Dundee Fire
District, and this Notice is served upon you pursuant to the
provisions of Section 7-1-1 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois
Revised Statutes .

City of Elgin at its Council meeting in the City Hall Council
Chambers, 150 Dexter Court, Elgin, Illinois, on Wednesday,
August 14, 1991, at 8 p.m.
