AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G22-90 GRANTING A SPECIAL USE
FOR AN OFF-STREET PARKING LOT
( 1250 Larkin Avenue)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Section 2 of Ordinance No. G22-90
entitled "An Ordinance Granting a Special Use for an
Off-Street Parking Lot" passed May 9 , 1990, be and is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 2 . That a special use for an .
off-street parking lot on the east side of Weston
Avenue, north of Larkin Avenue, Elgin, Illinois,
legally described as follows:
Lot 9 in Block 9 of Theo. F. Swan' s
Subdivision, being a subdivision of part
of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter
of Section 15, Township 41 North, Range 8
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
tow the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois .
be and is hereby granted subject to the following
conditions :
1 . Substantial conformance with the
site plan dated April 16, 1990 .
2 . Construction of a six foot cedar
fence along the north, east, and west
sides of the parking lot, with the
required trees and 100 percent landscape
screening being provided on the
residential sides of the fence.
3 . Compliance with all applicable
codes and ordinances .
Section 2 . That, except as amended herein, Ordinance No.
G22-90 remains in full force and effect.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage in the manner provided
by law.
